Our website packages start from £1,000 + VAT for a small build. An example of a small build is a ten-page brochure-style website (pages might include: home, about, packages, FAQ, contact – similar to the Connectable website). Additional costs are likely to include hosting (please see below for more information how hosting works), domain name purchase (unless already owned) and a monthly website management fee (if chosen as part of the package). As a rough guide, expect to pay £100 – £150 per page developed, dependent on the complexity of the project. Take a look at our packages page for more information.
The two on-going costs are website hosting and annual domain name renewal. At the beginning of the project, you must decide whether you would like us to host your website or whether you would like to manage the hosting on your own. Our hosting packages start from £17.99 + VAT per calendar month and cover the hosting of the website itself, plugin updates and website security with SSL included. Find our more about our website hosting packages here. The cost of the domain name renewal is decided by the provider you go with – we can advise if required. There are no additional hidden fees.
Yes – we provide full training once the website has been developed. Our websites are made in WordPress using Elementor Page Builder. This builder is very straightforward for the end user and user roles / capabilities can be set from editors to site administrators. We are happy to provide a demo before beginning your project. All our projects come with an optional tailored video guide too.
First, we have a discovery session to discuss your vision for your new website (don’t worry if you’re not sure yet, we will help bring out your ideas). We then raise a quote for your consideration which is sent via email. Should you want to go ahead, we ask you to provide us with the written copy, images you would like to use, and websites you’ve been inspired by. Click here to launch your project.
Device optimisation is at the heart of our projects. We would not release a site which isn’t optimised to the best of our ability. Please bear in mind that browsers are continuously updating. We will always do our best to ensure your site works well on every platform.
As part of all our hosting packages, updates are run monthly on your website (and often more frequently). The site is backed up every evening. If you choose to host your website through an alternative provider, you will need to take care of the website security, updates and back-ups yourself.
In our project terms we state that we would assist with this process and cannot charge more than £50 + VAT in administration fees. Although we hope you don’t ever want to move!
The great thing about WordPress is that we can alter the site in any way at any time. Should you wish to add more pages at a later stage and ask us to do it, the fee is typically £100 – £150 + VAT per page developed (dependent on complexity).
This will depend on the size and complexity of your website. We will be able to give you a rough timeline following the initial discovery meeting.
We offer a standard level of SEO on all our builds with regards to assisting with page loading speed, image optimisation and submission of your sitemap to Google Search Console. We also offer advanced SEO packages for those who require it. More information can be found on our hosting and support page. Please note that your Google search ranking will also take into account written copy, backlinks, meta tags and much more. But we do all we can as a the developer to give you the best opportunity to rank well.
